The owner and principal design consultant of the Sin City firm Chemical Spaceshttp://http//www.chemicalspaces.com/flash/intro.html was tasked with crafting four one-of-a-kind VIP suites as part of a resort-wide remodel. Each suite, constructed from February through June of 2009, boasts a unique theme. Costing $250,000 each, they are dubbed Miami Blue, Punk Rock, Gorilla, and Tree Line.
Wood becomes less wooden in the Tree Line suite. Tracy started with the concept o creating a hotel room with the illusion of a two-story tree line in the center. He then hand-picked different colors for the tree branches and used them as the basis for the palette of the rest of the room The branch installation is complemented by hardwood floors, cream walls, a mural of blue smoke and gold leaves and skulls, and more LED rope lighting to illuminate it all. Why leave the room?
